Boarding

Shore Puppy Walks offers overnight boarding in the comfort of our home. Your pup will be treated like family. Boarding includes the first  day of doggie daycare.

REQUIREMENTS FOR BOARDING: (PLEASE READ.)

Vaccination Requirements:

All pups must be fully vaccinated (Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella) and current with flea, tick, and heartworm preventative. We require a negative fecal test within the last six months. A copy of vaccinations with administration dates is required to be uploaded to your account. Please be sure to update vaccinations 14 days prior to attending. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Males MUST be neutered. Females MUST be spayed.

ALL pups MUST be fully potty trained.

We are not requiring, but highly recommend receiving the vaccination for Canine Influenza and Leptospirosis. As with all vaccinations, this does not guarantee they will not contract the illnesses, but it can reduce the risk, severity, and duration of it.  If you travel with your dog, please wait one week upon your return before sending to daycare. 

DROP OFF/PICK UP TIMES: (Please read)

Drop off time is 8 am - 10 am. This allows for your pup to receive a full day of doggie daycare and plenty of time to get acclimated to the other dogs and our home. If you are not able to arrive by 10 am, we may not be able to accommodate. This will depend on how many dogs we have boarding, the energy level of your dog, and whether your pup has boarded with us in the past. *NO DROP OFF ON SUNDAY - Please note that we are closed on Sundays and do not allow drop-offs on that day. Sundays are intentionally reserved for our family and for providing calm, consistent care to the dogs already in our home.

We do, however, allow Sunday pick-ups at 9:00 AM for boarding guests.

Pick up time for boarding is 9 am. If you need to pick up later, you may register your pup for doggie daycare. Pick up for daycare is any time until 5 pm. Sundays are 9 am pick up ONLY. If you are not able to pick up Sunday morning, you may schedule your pup for an overnight and pick up Monday morning. Daycare is closed on Sunday. Thank you for understanding that we value our uninterrupted time with our family on Sundays. 

Grooming Requirement for Overnight Guests

Because our overnight guests stay inside our home, we work very hard to maintain a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for all dogs in our care.

To help us do this, we require that all dogs arrive clean and properly groomed prior to their stay.

All dogs must have the following before their overnight visit:

• Trimmed nails for the safety and comfort of all dogs and people in our home
• A thorough brushing to remove loose fur and prevent matting
• Clean coats and paws so mud and debris are not brought into the house

For long -haired or curly-coated breeds, recent grooming is especially important. When coats become too long, these dogs easily collect mud, dirt, and debris in their paws, legs, and facial hair, which can quickly get tracked throughout the home.

Please have:

• Recent grooming to maintain a manageable coat length
• A sanitary trim to keep the rear area clean and hygienic

Dogs that arrive excessively dirty, heavily matted, or in need of basic grooming may be asked to reschedule their stay until grooming has been completed.

We truly love welcoming your dogs into our home and treat them like family. Maintaining proper grooming helps us keep our environment clean, safe, and comfortable for every guest. Thank you for helping us maintain the high standard of care we provide.

$60/ night and includes one day of Doggie Day Camp 

$75/ night and includes one day of Doggie Day Camp for Special Holidays. 

Special holidays include New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend  (Friday through Monday), President's Weekend  (Thursday through Monday), Easter Week  (Thursday before Easter through Sunday after Easter) , Mother's Day Weekend (Friday through Sunday), Memorial Weekend  (Friday through Monday), Father's Day Weekend (Friday through Sunday), Independence Weekend   (includes weekend depending on the day it falls), Labor Day Weekend  (Friday through Monday), Columbus Day Weekend  (Friday through Monday)  (Friday through Monday), Halloween, Fall Break Week (Dates will vary), Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Weekend  (Wednesday through Sunday), Christmas Week (Friday before Christmas through New Year's Day).
