Hi! I’m Tara Geisel, owner of Shore Puppy Walks and mom to six children, three Labradors, and three rescue cats. Ever since I was a little girl, I've loved animals. Growing up in Cape May, I rode horses, owned several dogs, a ferret, and raised two pet squirrels. I was also known to show up at home with baby bunnies, box turtles, and even a white rat. My mom never knew what to expect! I obtained my Master's Degree in Elementary Education and have been a teacher in Lower Township for 28 years. For the past two years, I have run Seahorse Summer Horse camp with my daughter, Delsea. I have decided to pursue my passion and love for all animals. I look forward to working with you, loving and caring for your pets, and showing you what makes Shore Puppy Walks so special
Bill has a deep love for animals and has been a dog owner for his entire life. For the past four years, Bill's love for cats has bloomed, being the father of three rescues. Bill even rescued our baby, Oreo, and his litter mates, from a truck yard where he is a Supervisor of Traffic Safety. Bill brings his vast experience in customer service and running day to day administrative tasks. His goal is to make every interaction with your pet a special and unique experience.
Having grown up with animals, Delsea's passion started at an early age with her Beagle, Maddie. At the age of five, Delsea began riding horses and quickly realized her talent. At age 10, she purchase her second pony, working every day after school to train. Delsea has volunteered with rescue farms and fostered many rescue dogs. She adopted two of her own rescues, Ransom and Stella. Delsea has worked with many dogs to offer obedience training. She has been a riding instructor for the past seven years and ran Seahorse Summer Horse Camp for the past two years. This busy girl also works at South Paw Animal Hospital as a Vet Tech/Assistant and Animal Alliance of Cape May County where she administers anesthesia and surgery prep for a spay and neuter clinic.
Riley had no choice but to be an animal lover in this family! Attending her sister's horse show at only four days old, Riley quickly learned she would be surrounded by furry babies. Although she sleeps with a Rottweiler and loves the big dogs, Riley is our small dog and cat whisperer. Her gentle spirit attracts the tiniest personalities. Riley currently attends Rutgers University New Brunswick where she studies psychology. We are lucky to have her during summer and winter breaks for visits, walks, and even in-home pet sitting.
Ed Sherretta has been loving animals since 1946! Starting when he was just a boy, he and his father raised many Beagles. His favorite past time was running his dogs in the woods. As an adult, Ed raised an alligator and rescued a ferret. Let's not forget the time he helped a friend cut down a tree only to find baby squirrels with their eyes still closed. Feeding them with an eye dropper, Alexis and Tommy lived for 8 years! They enjoyed hiding sunflower seeds in potted plants and belly rubs. Today, my pets call him Pop Pop and you can see he is my personal sitter when we are away. He has been known to nap on the floor when my Labs need some extra TLC!
